Copywriter a person who uses words and ideas to promote a person, business, opinion or idea. Although the word copy may be applied to any content intended for printing (as in the body of a newspaper article or book), the term copywriter is generally limited to promotional situations, regardless of the medium (as advertisements for print, television, radio or other media). Having heritage stemming from the copywriting profession, my emergence in to this area was destiny of sorts.
The late Gary Halbert was credited with being the best at what he did and that was…copywriter. Now deceased, Gary was a unique individual who had the uncanny ability to convince people to send money to him. So much so that with the creation of the now notorious, world recognized, Gary Halbert letter, he was able to roll in over $8 million in the late ’70s. Like all Halbert’s, Gary was no 1-trick pony. The years to follow saw him copywriting for some of the most influential businesses in the world today. However I’m not here to talk about Gary, I’m here to talk about Don G. Halbert – Professional Copywriter
After….during my mastery of Costa Rica SEO and online marketing, I began to seriously stand back and take note of the increasing demand for copywriters. Any SEO will tell you that one of the crucial ingredients to any SEO strategy is content and PR. Actually there is a saying in the SEO industry that CONTENT IS KING!
One must learn to be extremely creative when writing copy, especially in the case of Costa Rica. Now of course I’m not only a copywriter for subjects pertaining to Costa Rica. Heck no! I can write copy on ANY SUBJECT.
You see, the purpose of copy, if the copywriter is any good, is to sell your product while you sleep. All you need to do is receive and deliver on the orders to follow. The true magic lies in the copy.
I know Gary disagreed with me on this, but then again I’m “the New Age Halbert copywriter”, I believe you MUST be extremely creative in order to think so far out of the box that you can not even remember what the darn thing looked like to begin with. This is what sells today. Not generic slick sales pitches like back in the 80s & 90′s with say…Kirby Vacuums or encyclopedias. Nope.
Whether you need a copywriter for ad copy, unique web content or press releases, my skills and attentive distribution network can most certainly help increase your bottom line. There is an age-old saying that, “the pen is mightier than the sword.” Could this be any more accurate in today’s Web addicted society?
Today, businesses habitually seek the upper hand on their competitors. For that reason a talented copywriter is a necessary element to any business or person selling a product or service. Basically a MUST-HAVE item.
I have had my material mentioned with The Wall Street Journal, New York Times, CBS Moneywatch, Fox, MSNBC, CNN, Forbes and USA Today to name a few. Most recently I was honored to write for the Costa Rican equivalency of the WSJ, El Financiero. This piece was a full page spread in the who’s who of the financial world in Costa Rica. Talk about credibility in a foreign country.
Changing the preverbal copywriter and metamorphosing this in to something truly unique.
If professionalism, results and credibility are what you are after in a copywriter, not to mention talented in web design and SEO, then might I convince you to consider my services to give your business the upper hand on your competitors?
